Addressing the 10 most important questions about discovery research
Our analyst, technical team, and designers work on the discovery phase. It usually takes us no more than two weeks to study your requirements, explore the best market solutions, and create a development plan.
By the end of the discovery phase, you will have:
View a sample discovery report
We’ll need about 3 hours of your time to introduce the analyst to the project, review the finalized plan, and provide your comments. We’ll handle the rest.
It’s common for parts of the future system to be clarified and adjusted during the discovery phase. In fact, it’s ideal to make these changes early on to reduce development costs down the line.
You are not obligated to start development with us. After the discovery phase, you will have a project outline that you can take to other teams to compare costs and select the best partner. If you choose not to use the discovery materials, we will refund your money.
We can’t give an exact price without fully understanding the project—it’s a sure path to failure. Quoting prices upfront would also be misleading, as the budget may shift after the discovery phase. If it’s essential for you to know a price range before starting, we can discuss it during a personal meeting.
In that case, we’ll suggest adjusting the project’s functionality to fit your budget while still addressing your business goals—this is called an MVP. You’ll have control over the development plan, setting priorities as needed. This way, we’ll stay within budget, launch a basic version quickly, and defer secondary features to a future iteration.
